Comprising 766 square kilometres of dense evergreen rainforest which forms a continuous wooded landscape with neighbouring Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Kibale Forest National Park provides a flourishing natural habitat for endangered chimpanzees, red colobus monkeys and African bush elephants. The Park is a sanctuary for primates, boasting the greatest variety and concentration anywhere in East Africa, and offers amazing opportunities for chimpanzee trekking.
