Sodwana Bay, situated on the Indian Ocean coast of South Africa, is one of the top dive destinations in the world. The coral reefs contain over 1 200 species of fish as well as a variety of underwater seascapes and marine flora and fauna. Its offshore reefs are also home to the majestic whale shark; the world’s largest fish and now an endangered species due in large to the effects of human conflict.
