Romantic African Destinations for a Blissful Honeymoon

Shiri and Corey spent three nights at Ursula Homestead, a private lodge nearby to Victoria Falls- a UNESCO World Heritage Site – where they could choose to enjoy game drives, a tour of Victoria falls, white-water rafting and a helicopter flip during their stay.

They moved on to one of South Africa’s most pristine towns and the gourmet capital of the country, Franschhoek, where they visited four different wine estates enjoying food and wine pairings, a winelands cycle tour and learning about the area’s faschinating French connection during a visit to the Huguenot Monument.

The couple turned their transfer from Franschhoek to Cape Town into a private tour of the Cape Winelands, going on a magical scenic journey learning about the history, architecture and wine of the region. They spent an incredible four nights at the Commodore Hotel in the V&A Watefront – the perfect, central location for sweeping views of Table Mountain, sightseeing and walkabouts in the city, shopping sprees and varied dining experiences, along with beach visits and short hikes up the moutain.

Shiri and Corey’s final leg of their African honeymoon took them to a Tented Luxury Suite at Jaci’s Safari Lodge in Madikwe Game Reserve. With unrivaled game viewing, outstanding service and tailor-made safari activities, the couple embarked on twice-daily game drives with expert guides to explore the game-rich reserve, enjoying fire-cooked meals under the stars.

After a final breakfast and game drive, the adoring couple was transferred to the nearby airstrip where they began their journey home.
