A young couple on honeymoon, Cassandra and Timothy wanted to experience a mix of a safari holiday with a fabulous taste of Cape Town food, wine and culture on a four-star budget. From a Big 5 safari in Motswari Private Game Reserve to a primely located hotel at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, this holiday perfectly positioned the newlyweds to make timeless memories of their romantic honeymoon.
Cassandra and Timothy arrived at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg where they were welcomed by a VIP representative who escorted them through immigration and on to the arrivals hall towards their onward flight to Hoedspruit. Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, the couple were met and transferred to their lodge for three nights at Motswari Private Game Reserve. With 150 square kilometres of untamed reserve to explore, the newlyweds could enjoy watching majestic creatures, including the Big Five, as they basked in their natural habitat.
After a morning safari activity and breakfast, Cassandra and Timothy checked out and were transferred back to Hoedspruit Airport for their series of flights to Cape Town. Upon arrival they were warmly welcomed and transferred to the Victoria & Alfred Hotel at the V&A Waterfront for four nights. Day six of their journey began with a full-day private tour of the Cape Peninsula, while day seven was reserved for a leisurely exploration of the Waterfront’s many attractions, including shopping, eclectic cuisine and cruise and helicopter flip operators.
After checking out of their hotel, the honeymooners met their expert guide for a full-day private tour of the Cape Winelands, where they explored the history, wine and architecture of the historic region, also stopping for a fantastic lunch at a local winery. The couple could also include a visit to the famous Babylonstoren estate or attend an artisanal ‘bean to bar’ chocolate tasting before being dropped off at their hotel for two nights: La Cabriere Country House.
After a delicious breakfast and their final morning spent in Franschhoek, Cassandra and Timothy were met and transferred back to Cape Town International Airport for their series of flights back home to the USA.
